Nvidia to launch GTX 960 by January 2015 !

As we all know 60series are mid range gaming series .The 900 series of cards completely surprised us by their power and performance along with the so called ‘Maxwell’ architecture. Both GTX 970 and 980 initiated a new era of gaming. In addition to that Nvidia fans will be delighted to know about GTX 960 which is going to be released by January, next year, according to some sources. This card could storm the market with its estimated mid-range price. 

But first, let’s have a look at its rumored specs:

Remote Desktop App Preview for Windows Phone 8.1

Microsoft has released yet another preview of its Remote Desktop App for Windows Phone 8.1, which enables users to access applications remotely on their smartphones.

Remote Desktop App preview version 8.1.1 for Windows Phone 8.1, which was released this week, is an update to version 8.1 that Microsoft released in late April. The first version of the app included support for Microsoft's RemoteFX 3D graphics capabilities and support for the Network Layer Authentication Protocol for data protection. It also added touch capabilities on Windows Phone 8.1 devices.

This new 8.1.1 preview version includes user interface improvements, such as the ability to pin desktop connections to Windows Phone 8.1's Start Screen and the ability to use the predictive text capability of the operating system to specify a remote connection. Users can also disable thumbnails on the Windows Phone 8.1 screen and show the background image through application tiles. The connection experience now shows various stages, and devices will disconnect quicker when sessions are terminated, according to Microsoft's announcement.

Microsoft also has Remote Desktop Apps available for Windows 8.1, iOS, Mac OS X and Android.

Lack of Enterprise Support
As with the 8.1 preview version, this 8.1.1 preview release of the Remote Desktop App for Windows Phone 8.1 doesn't come with support for Microsoft Azure RemoteApp, nor does it support the addition of VPN connections. Support for those capabilities will arrive sometime this summer, according to the announcement. In addition, version 8.1.1 preview currently lacks support for Remote Desktop Gateway, Remote Desktop Connection Broker and Desktop Connection, although support is promised by Microsoft for "later this year."

Those omissions likely will be disappointments for IT pros running virtual desktop infrastructures using Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2. The lack of support means that some management capabilities won't be available. In addition, it will make accessing session-based desktops or virtual desktops harder for end users using the Windows Phone 8.1 client.

Microsoft describes RemoteApp and Desktop Connection as enabling "a personalized view of RemoteApp programs, session-based desktops, and virtual desktops to users." The Remote Desktop Connection Broker enables IT pros to manage session-based remote desktops and virtual machine-based remote desktops, and it adds support for the RemoteApp and Desktop Connection capabilities, according to a TechNet article. The Remote Desktop Gateway Server enables encrypted transport using the HTTPS Protocol and Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol, which is another management essential.

The lack of support for RemoteApp and Desktop Connection in the Windows Phone 8.1 client was noted by readers of Microsoft's blog when the 8.1 version was announced. A reader named "Tom" commented that Microsoft provided such support for other platforms first, even over its own Windows Phone 8.1 client:

No support for remote resources (i.e. RemoteApps pushed out over a RemoteApp and Desktop Connections [RADC] web feed connection URL) like is included in all of the other Microsoft Remote Desktop clients (i.e. Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows RT)??? Just another case of Microsoft leaving their own smartphone platform behind. How sad.

However, it's not an unprecedented move. For instance, Microsoft rolled out a touch-enhanced Office for iPad first, even though it is still working on releasing a touch-enhanced Office version for Windows 8 systems.

Faster Release Cycle
Microsoft now has a faster release cycle for its software products. The release cycles can be yearly, monthly or even weekly (as in the case of Microsoft's Yammer updates). However, with Microsoft's apps, the release schedule seems even harder to predict.

This Remote Desktop App release for Windows Phone 8.1 reflected a one-month turnaround for an app that's still at the preview stage. That's a different release practice for Microsoft. The company used to follow a more predictable "beta," "release candidate" and "general availability" pattern.

1.Open  Google Settings from your device’s apps menu.

2.Touch Android Device Manager.

You can turn on the following options:

*Remotely locate this device. Find your device and show its approximate location on Google Maps. For devices running 4.1 and higher, location access must also be enabled. To turn it on, go to Google Settings > Location > Access location.

*Allow remote lock and factory reset. Lock your device and erase everything on it. You can also change the lock screen passcode. Touch this option, then select Activate to turn on the device administrator.

If more than one person uses a tablet, only the tablet owner can turn on Android Device Manager.

#Devices that are offline or powered off:

*If your device is offline, Android Device Manager won’t be able to ring, lock, or erase the device until there’s a mobile data or Wi-Fi connection. Select any of the options in advance, and the action will be performed once the device is back online.

*Android Device Manager won’t work for devices that are powered off.

#Hide devices on Google Play:

If you hide a device on Google Play, the device won’t appear in Android Device Manager. You can hide or show devices on Google Play by going to play.google.com/settings and selecting a device in the Visibility column.

How to access saved password from your browser?

                  

Every time you login into any site from u r browser a tab pop-out asking do you like to save the password. If at all u fear that u may forget it then make sure that u click the "save password" button. As feared if u forget the password here is the walk-through on how to access it from u r browser. The guide for finding the saved password for the browser IE, Firefox and Google chrome is provided here.

FIREFOX:

To access a saved password in firefox do the following steps:

If you let Chrome save your passwords, you’ll get a prompt every time when you sign in to a new website.

Touch Yes if you want Chrome to remember your sign-in credentials. Chrome will automatically complete the sign-in fields for you when you visit the websites again.

Touch Never if you don’t want Chrome to save your username and password for the website you’re on.

3)Delete a saved password

    Touch Chrome menu > Settings > Save passwords.

    Choose the password that you want to remove.

4)Change password settings

AMD came with new series Radeon 200.The Rx 200 series was announced on September 25, 2013, at the AMD GPU14 Tech Day event. More next gen gpus of this series is expected to release by 2014. The Radeon R9 270 series is composed of two products, the 270X and the 270, with the X indicating the higher performing part in AMD’s new naming scheme ,as boost for nvidia products ., the r9 270 and r9 270x has similar config wen compared to amd's hd 7850 and hd 7870 but the price of 270 and 270x is in the rage of 200$ where as later is at $250+.

As the AMD's direct opponent is Nvidia . not it released any product for face to face competition as for as now 270x is compared with 660 where as the head to head battle may be considered with 650ti boost ! From a performance perspective, despite the minor GPU clock-speed bump the 270X ends up being 9% faster than the 7870, thanks to the combination of that GPU clock-speed bump combined with the memory clock-speed bump. It’s not a massive difference, but it makes the 270X the superior card.

As it can clearly seen from the BF3 bench mark ! crysis 3 also show the similar result where at mid range settings r9 270 give 5 to 7 fps more than 650ti boost .But according to price range 650 ti is lesser where 660 is in the range of r9 270 and 660 performs better than the 270 ..!   

In power conception 270 consumes high as equal to 670 

This test also highlights the difference between the GTX 760 and 270X in maximum power consumption; the 270X will draw less power on average, but it’s ultimately rated for more than the GTX 760.

We still have a difference between the HIS and Asus cards, but at 7W it’s not nearly as much as under Crisis. More significantly we can see both the HIS 270 and GTX 660 topping out within 1W of each other, illustrating  the 150W wall.

Anyhow, right now the 270 clearly is the card to beat in both its market segment and its power segment. As a $180 card it’s roughly the same price as the GTX 660 but it’s 10% faster.

Finally, getting to our individual 270 cards, we’ll start with the HIS Radeon R9 270 IceQ X2. As our reference clocked sample, everything we’ve said about 270 in general is going to apply here. TeamViewer uses RSA private/public key exchange (1024-bit) and AES (256-bit) session encoding.In the default configuration, TeamViewer uses one of the servers of TeamViewer.com to start the connection and the routing of traffic between the local client and the remote host machine. The software then determines how to establish a connection. In 70% of the cases after the handshake a direct connection via UDP or TCP is established, the other connections are routed through TeamViewer GmbH's router network (via TCP or http-tunneling).The key exchange also guarantees a full client-to-client data protection. This means that even our routing servers will not be able to read the data stream.
Access Protection
In addition to the Partner ID TeamViewer generates a session password that changes with every software start to provide additional security against unauthorized access to a remote system. Security relevant functions like file transfer require additional, manual confirmation of the remote partner. Also it is not possible to invisibly control a computer. For data protection reasons the person sitting on the remote computer has to be able to detect when someone is accessing the machine.  Even the Quick Support Custom Design tools are dynamically signed during generation!
